Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness was founded in 2010 with the mission to provide a physical therapy experience that exceeded the patient’s expectations at every interaction. The founder, Krista Frederic, MPT, OCS was committed not only to providing treatments that were effective, efficient and supported by evidence and years of experience, but to creating a patient experience that exceeded expectations at every turn. She believes that a relaxed, comfortable patient is more receptive to healing, resulting in better outcomes and long-term health improvements.
To improve the health and well-being of our local communities through access to quality care, community education and amazing customer experience. We aim to become the “go to providers “ in our community for musculoskeletal pain and movement problems as well as lifestyle education.
Renee Nyarko Eluma PT, DPT Partner/Physical Therapist PT, DPT
Renee Nyarko Eluma graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2006.
For the past 15 years, Renee has provided comprehensive treatment to her patients using a wide variety of manual therapy techniques complimented by exercise to help patients return to a healthy lifestyle. All treatments that she utilizes incorporates functional activity and movements to ensure that the patient’s functional goals are addressed. She is also a strong proponent of patient education to assist each patient in their transition to independent management of their impairments. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, especially those involving the shoulders, knees and ankles. She spent 4 years volunteering her time to the Washington DC Divas, a professional women’s tackle football team, where she provided sports PT assessment and treatment to help players return to the field. In 2014, Renee opened the second Forever Fit outpatient physical therapy facility in Bowie, Maryland. Since then, she has assisted in the opening of two additional clinics with Forever Fit Physical Therapy. Recently, she was named one of Maryland’s 2019 Top Doctors in the Physical Therapy Category.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time with her husband and two young girls. She volunteers her time to a non-profit organization that raises money to provide hospital and school supplies to villages in her family’s home country of Ghana, West Africa. Her favorite pastimes include traveling, meeting new people, cheering for all the Washington DC area home teams, especially the Washington Redskins.
Jessica Hart PT DPT Clinic Director/Physical Therapist PT, DPT, Certified Dry Needling Provider
Jessica Rizzo graduated from University of Maryland, College Park in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2016. Jessica worked as a Physical Therapy Techician for the company from 2012 to 2013 and rejoined the company as a Physical Therapist in 2016. Jessica first became interested in physical therapy in high school when she fractured her low back after years of playing competitive volleyball. Some of her favorite past times include spending time with family and friends, watching football, and playing with her dog. Jessica has completed her Dry Needling Certification and particularly enjoys treating hip, knee and foot injuries.
Kali Keller PT, DPT CLT-LANA Physical Therapist PT DPT
Kali Keller, PT, DPT, CLT-LANA, a Detroit native, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University School of Medicine before relocating to Washington, DC. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she was a professional dancer whose resume includes principal roles with Detroit Ballet Theatre, Detroit Pistons' Automotion, Royal Carribean and Disneyland. Dr. Keller has excelled in utilizing the Movement System Impairment Technique to identify and treat faulty movement patterns to prevent injury and optimize return to performance in dancers and other performers as well as the general orthopedic population. In addition, she is passionate about treating patients with cancer to maximize movement and quality of life as a cancer rehabilitation specialist and certified lymphedema therapist. Dr. Keller still enjoys dancing, hanging out with her cats, Mufasa and Sox, and has now found a new passion in tennis which she enjoys playing during her free time.
Katie Kirkman PT, DPT Physical Therapist PT, DPT
Katie Kirkman graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science from University of Delaware in 2019. Katie first became interested in physical therapy in high school when she was a patient after having a stress fracture and shin splints after years of playing competitive soccer. She enjoys treating patients of all age groups with various conditions including low back and neck pain. Outside of work, she enjoys going on long hikes with her dog, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
