Jessica Rizzo graduated from University of Maryland, College Park in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2016. Jessica worked as a Physical Therapy Techician for the company from 2012 to 2013 and rejoined the company as a Physical Therapist in 2016. Jessica first became interested in physical therapy in high school when she fractured her low back after years of playing competitive volleyball. Some of her favorite past times include spending time with family and friends, watching football, and playing with her dog. Jessica has completed her Dry Needling Certification and particularly enjoys treating hip, knee and foot injuries.
Kiesha Montanez Physical Therapist PT, DPT, Certified Graston Technique Provider
Kiesha Montanez joined the Forever Fit team in 2018 after several years of orthopedic therapy experience. A Maryland native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Salisbury University and then went on to University of Maryland Eastern shore to study physical therapy. As an active, energetic person, Kiesha loves meeting new people and being an active part of their recovery process. She believes in having as many tools as possible to treat a variety of patients. As a result she has taken courses in McKenzie lumbar treatment, Graston technique, cupping, and dry needling. She plans to be certified in dry needling later in 2019. Kiesha loves treating a variety of orthopedic conditions but specializes in shoulder and knee rehabilitation. When she is not working Kiesha enjoys reading and working out.
Meghan Mahar PRN physical Therapist PT, DPT, Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Dry Needling Provider
As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Meghan enjoys treating clients with a variety of orthopedic injuries. She prides herself on focusing on the whole person, not just the injured body part, and encouraging better overall health.
She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Biology. She then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Meghan is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist. She is licensed to safely provide dry needling treatments to a variety of body parts in order to help combat acute or chronic pain. She finds this treatment can be especially advantageous for stubborn trigger points in the neck and back that have not responded to more conservative strategies.
Meghan has been filling in at several of the Forever Fit offices for several years. She carries a consistent schedule at the Bowie office. When she is not working for Forever Fit she sees patients in the home who are unable to easily make it into a clinic. She enjoys the balance between her time in the clinic and in people’s homes.
In her spare time, Meghan can be found walking, running, cycling, or even roller skating with her family. She also enjoys home renovation projects and has been a vegetarian for over 20 years. She encourages not only her clients, but her family and friends to choose a healthy lifestyle.
