Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness was founded in 2010 with the mission to provide a physical therapy experience that exceeded the patient’s expectations at every interaction. The founder, Krista Frederic, MPT, OCS was committed not only to providing treatments that were effective, efficient and supported by evidence and years of experience, but to creating a patient experience that exceeded expectations at every turn. She believes that a relaxed, comfortable patient is more receptive to healing, resulting in better outcomes and long-term health improvements.
To improve the health and well-being of our local communities through access to quality care, community education and amazing customer experience. We aim to become the “go to providers “ in our community for musculoskeletal pain and movement problems as well as lifestyle education.
Renee Nyarko Eluma Partner/Therapist PT, DPT
Renee Nyarko Eluma graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2003 with a degree in Biopsychology. She then went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2006.
Renee provides comprehensive treatment to her patients using a wide variety of manual therapy and taping techniques complimented by exercise to help patients return to a healthy lifestyle. She is also a strong proponent of patient education to assist each patient in their transition to independent management of their impairments. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, especially those involving the shoulder. Renee is a Level 1 Dry Needling certified through Myopain.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time in the company of family and friends. For the past three years she has volunteered her time to the Washington DC Divas, a professional women’s tackle football team. She also volunteers her time to a non-profit organization that raises money to provide hospital and school supplies to villages in her family’s home country of Ghana, West Africa. Her favorite pastime involves cheering for all the Washington DC area home teams, especially the Washington Redskins.
Janelle Martinez Clinic Director/ Physical Therapist
Janelle Martinez graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. She received her doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2008. Her experience covers multiple settings from hospital, rehabilitation, home health and outpatient. Her treatment focus is mainly in outpatient orthopedics, treating post surgical, orthopedic and sports injuries. She is energized by helping patients achieve their highest potential and improve their quality of life as they recover from acute to chronic injuries and conditions through treatment and education. As a former Division one track and field athlete and a Black Belt, Janelle understands the value and importance of an active lifestyle and is committed to helping each patient achieve his or her best life.
Anne Coakley, PT Physical Therapist, Assistant Clinical Director
Anne Coakley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore. Anne has practiced Physical Therapy for 31 years. Twenty eight years has been dedicated to orthopedic population. Anne’s continuing education has been dedicated to all areas of patient treatment especially manual therapy. Anne particularly enjoys educating her patients for independence in self-management for her patient’s improved quality of life. Anne has lived in Maryland all of her life. She has enjoyed raising three children with her husband Jon. Traveling, long hikes with her husband and dog and any outdoor adventure keeps Anne active in her free time.
Barbara Huddleston Occupational Therapist OTR/L, CHT, CPAM
Barbara has been a Registered Occupational Therapist for over 25 years. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Medical University of South Carolina in 1985 and earned her Certified Hand Therapist credentials in 1991. In 2010, she added a certification in Physical Agents and Modalities to her credentials. While Barb is experienced in the inpatient and Trauma settings, her love is treating tendon repairs and hand injuries in the outpatient setting. She also teaches people how to use prosthetics, including the I-limb.
Meghan Reed Physical Therapist PT, DPT
Meghan Reed, DPT received her B.S. in Biology from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD in 2015. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD in 2019. Meghan grew up all over the United States with some time spent abroad due to growing up in a military family. She has been living in Maryland for the past decade. Meghan loves the field of physical therapy for both the active nature of the job and the difference physical therapy makes in people’s lives. She likes treating patients with conditions affecting the shoulders, knees, and ankles. She enjoys working with patients of all ages. Outside of work Meghan enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
