How can you do telehealth for Physical therapy? Isn’t it a hands on profession?
Hands-on manual therapy is an important skill of orthopedic physical therapists. However, there is so much more to what we offer our Patients. Physical therapists are movement-disorder and pain specialists. With a good patient history, active listening skills and observation of your movement, we can readily provide exercises, practical advice on posture and activity modification and education about your injury that help you to heal yourself. In fact, our attention to educating our patients is really what sets us at Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness.
Can any patient do telehealth Physical Therapy?
While most patients will benefit from telehealth physical therapy alone or in adjunct to office visits, some patients are not appropriate due to fall risk or other health concerns. Your therapist will discuss your likelihood to benefit from telehealth services and how or when they can be utilized in your plan.
Will my insurance cover telehealth physical therapy?
At this time, we have been told that the following insurances will cover telehealth as if it were an in-office visit. We have been told this information varies by plan so we will verify your individual coverage and let you know. If covered, you will owe only the co-pay.

Cash option of direct pay of $45 for a 30 minute treatment session.
