10 Minute Balance Assessment with Dr Shweta Nerurkar, PT

Maintaining  balance as we age is an important part of staying fit and healthy to prevent falls. Our newest clinic director, Dr. Shweta Nerurkar, has experience working with patients with balance deficits stemming from a variety of disorders including Parkinson's, Vertigo, and General deconditioning.


As a service to our community Dr. Nerukar is hosting a free 10 minute balance assessment on Friday February 18 from 12:30-2pm at our Burtonsville location (3901 National Dr Suite 100). She will use research backed assessment tools to evaluate your balance and discuss your next steps.

 Vision training for sports

Vision training is a form of training that helps athletic individuals optimize their performance by boosting vision, balance, hand-eye coordination, reaction speed and additional skills that heighten athletic abilities.


More than 80% of sensory input is visual, which means the eyes play an important role in athletic performance, but this aspect of training is often overlooked. Accordingly, research shows that dynamic vision training which involves a concerted regimen for the eyes helps athletes and sports enthusiasts improve coordination skills and overall performance.
